The German American Conference is now over and I look back on 3 wonderful days with incredibly great people. Together with the Federal Foreign Office I was able to participate in the launch of their "WunderbarTogether" campaign to promote German-American friendship. I met the German ambassador to the U.S., discussed the transatlantic relationship with members of the German Bundestag and saw many old friends again! It's incredible to be able to use all these opportunities at Harvard Medical School. The seminars in the "Program in Neuroscience" are incredibly exciting and I also enjoy the courses I have taken. It is a bit stressful to combine all this with full-time research, but absolutely possible.
